Even as the illusions of chaos and discord have permeated human consciousness for the past many months, we who are on this spiritual path are supremely blessed to know that “My kingdom is not of this world,” and that there is a place of “My Peace” within our very own being. At Thanksgiving, with deeply grateful hearts, we can take refuge in the blessed simplicity of that sanctuary of peace, and we can rest in the simple but profound truth: “I and my Father are one.”
In that spirit of simplicity, peace, and rest, we share a beautiful, simple hymn of thanksgiving, against a background of some of the lovely photos we have enjoyed in our group sessions. The hymn was written in 1864 by Folliott S. Pierpoint, who was so taken by the beauty of the countryside that surrounded him that inspiration took hold, and the words just surged up from within and flowed forth. We are most grateful to Beth Nielsen Chapman, the vocalist, for kind permission to post her recording.
At Thanksgiving and always, we send you our abiding love and our deepest gratitude for your support of Goldsmith Global and for your dedication to the spiritual way of life. May you BE in the realization that you are always under the universal Grace that we celebrate in this season.
With Love and Gratitude,
Liz and Marty
