We have posted additional reference material for our study of the chapter “Contemplation Develops the Beholder.” At this point in our study of the eight most important chapters, it may be helpful to ask ourselves whether we are “reading” or “studying” the chapters. One of the documents posted reminds us of what Joel said about the importance of study and suggests one study method that we have found valuable. The second document is a story from Lao Tzu, which nicely illustrates the attitude of a “beholder” that Joel teaches in this chapter.
We have posted a new Question and Answer from Joel. The question is from a student who is trying to overcome a fear of transition, or passing on.
We have posted additional reference material for our study of the chapter “Break the Fetters that Bind You.” There are four contemplative meditations in this chapter, designated in the text by asterisks (*). We have prepared a card with all four of these meditations that can be a helpful reminder to recall the essence of this chapter throughout the day.
We have posted a new Question and Answer from Joel, which directly relates to our current study chapter, “Protection.”
We have posted additional reference material for our study of the chapter “Protection,” should you wish to make use of it. As we work to fully grasp some aspect of Joel’s teaching, it can be very helpful to consider many different quotations about that particular subject in order to discern the essence of the message on that topic. The reference material posted for the chapter “Protection” is a collection of several quotations from Joel on the subject of protective work.
We have posted a new recording related to World Work.
