For each of our study programs, we choose either a book, a class, or a topic for concentrated study. For our next program, we will focus on Joel’s 1962 London Closed Class. We have found this class to be particularly rich with lessons that help us expand our spiritual understanding and awareness as we journey toward the experience of conscious union with God. We look forward to sharing these eight beautiful classes with you.
January has five Saturdays, Typically, we offer two sessions on that fifth Saturday, but this month we are going to do something different. We will conduct Presence Meditations twice a day on BOTH Saturday, January 30, and Sunday, January 31. Each day, the first meditation will be at 8:00 a.m., and the second at 6:00 p.m. The meditation sessions will be about 25 minutes each.
As we have done in the past, we will begin the meditations with a quotation, meditate for ten minutes, read the quote again, meditate for another ten minutes, and then conclude. Our intent in these meditations is to realize the Presence that already IS peace and harmony. We hope you will join us.
The student says that the Scripture quote “I and my Father are one” seems to imply duality and asks Joel to comment.
