Have you ever stopped to think about the spiritual meaning behind the symbols that surround us during the Christmas season? The commercial veneer that has crept into this holy season has the effect of dulling the spiritual significance of these symbols, and it can be refreshing to consider them in contemplation and see what spiritual meaning comes to us from within. These insights came to us in contemplation:
And what of the Christmas colors of red and green, the bells, candles, carols, holly, fruit, and mistletoe? What spiritual meaning can be found in them?
As we transform our perception of these Christmas motifs, we can use them as bright and constant reminders to “keep our mind stayed on truth” as we go about our holiday activities. With a mind stayed on truth, we can bring “My Peace” to all who come within our consciousness, and we can BE the light of the world.
As you see some of these Christmas symbols in our greeting card, know that we wish for you the totality of spiritual light; that we are in deepest appreciation for your participation in the Circle of Christhood; that we stand in reverent awe of the Oneness that makes spiritual siblings of us all; and that we lovingly recognize the eternal, immortal, infinite Christ that indwells each and every one of you.
A most blessed Christmas to you all!
Abiding Love,
Liz and Marty
