In Chapter 10 of The Contemplative Life, Joel named eight specific chapters for serious study saying, “In order to build a consciousness of truth, all Infinite Way students should know the following passages [chapters] as well as they know their own names.” Later he said that these chapters are of paramount importance to the serious student because they contain the answers to almost every individual problem that we might face, including family relations, illness, and supply. “If you work with those specific writings;” Joel said, “apply them to the problems of life that come to you in your own experience or that of your family or your patients; if you work with them over and over, they will develop fourth dimensional consciousness.”
The Goldsmith Global Online Tape Group studied these chapters five years ago in 2018. Because of their importance, and given all that has happened in the intervening years, we revisited them from June 17 – November 11, 2023.
These are the eight chapters identified by Joel:
Many of you already have the books that contain these chapters, but if you want to purchase any of the books, they are available from many online retailers, including:

As an alternative to purchasing books, all books are available for online reading through a subscription to the Virtual Library offered by JoelGoldsmithBooks.com.
For each chapter, we heard a recording that was either used as source material for that chapter or a recording that captures the essence of the chapter. For some chapters, we posted a second recording for optional listening. We offered optional study suggestions for each chapter.
After we heard a recording for the first time, we posted that recording in the Study Center and on the telephone recordings line for the entire duration of the study program, and for four weeks after we concluded the study program. This enabled students to access all the recordings for the study program, regardless of when they came to the group. We are most grateful to Sue Ropac, on behalf of the Estate of Joel S. Goldsmith, for permission to extend the time for posting these recordings.
