The Image:  This is a photograph of the Horsetail Waterfall in Yosemite National Park in California, during the month of February. It is  one of Yosemite National Park’s most amazing spectacles. Around the second week of February, when the conditions are perfect, the setting sun hits Horsetail Falls at just the right angle to illuminate the upper reaches of the waterfall, causing it to appear orange and red.
